Straw Floor [A17]

Description
This simple XML-based mod adds a straw floor made from hay.

The straw floor is mediocre at first glance: it has 0 beauty, -0.2 cleanliness, and it's 75% flammable to boot—not to mention that you have to spend 3 hay per tile to make it.

However, it does not accumulate dirt, sand, etc. or animal filth, so a barn floored with it won't be eternally awful simply because the animals are walking around in it.

If it burns, it'll turn into a "burnt straw" variant with the same basic behaviour and stats as other burnt flooring.

I'm not quite happy with the floor textures, so expect some minor tweaks at some point.

The mod should be safe to add to saves, but not safe to remove unless you either a) remove all of the straw flooring (and blueprints thereof) that it adds, or b) replace it with its A18 counterpart.

This version is compatible with A17. You might want to subscribe to the A18 version instead. This version will not be updated directly, for backwards compatibility.

@Carma 26: This mod will not update; there's a B18 version available separately. Subscribe to that instead. Updating this mod to B18 would break saves for people still using A17.

Please Update

@Waterkey: I've uploaded an A18 version of the mod; the only change is the target version and some case corrections for XML tags (now case-sensitive in A18). This version will remain as-is for A17, though I'll probably backport the case corrections the next time I update this version for any reason.

@Waterkey: This is on my radar; when I get a chance I'll mark this copy as A17 and start an A18 fork. I'll need to check whether the mod needs any significant updates for A18 first (probably not?), and do some double-checking that the mod's balance choices still make sense for A18. Since checking for balance changes and other issues involves playing the game on A18 unstable, please be patient for an A18 version while my personal life catches up.

In the meantime, if anyone tests the mod on A18, I'd appreciate feedback; that'd speed creation of an A18 version proper.

Excellent, I was worried because it removed one of the floors I really liked. I can't even remember where I got it. Looking forward to trying this baby out!! :D

@Alundra: Thanks! I haven't tried Stuffed Floors, but my initial impression is that this should work fine with it. As the Stuffed Floors description says: " [Stuffed Floors] only cleans up the floors added by mods that are explicitly supported." Since this mod is not currently supported by Stuffed Floors, I'd assume that Stuffed Floors won't try to "clean it up" and it should work as expected. I'll give Stuffed Floors a shot at some point to double-check.
