OCR GCSE Books.
I am horrified to find that a number of books have been removed (or perhaps I should even suggest stolen) from my lab.
I have checked the other biology labs and they are not with the books in those labs.
V8 was removed near the time of the Year 11 Mocks.
I have now had V5, V11 and my own copy, VMM removed.
These have disappeared near the time of the B3.1 Module test.
I see this is a strange coincidence that books are removed from my lab around the time of exams.
A teacher or technician will not remove the books.
Year 7 and 8 are very unlikely to even read.
Year 12 will have no interest as they have done their GCSE.
So - I am left with only one rather sad deduction - boys are removing them for their own work, outside school.
As mentioned, the timing to school exams is striking.
I was off school at the end of last time and finding 3 - THEE!!!!!!!!!! more books removed from my lab is dreadful.
How can i teach?
How can the 6 classes of KS4 boys be expected to work without the books.
A total of FOUR books is very sad.
So - please just bring back and put the books back in the yellow box, as per usual.
If I need to pursue this matter further, involving other teachers, notices in assembly, tutors, parents - I will!
Sorry to appear so blunt but I am unable to teacher all of you properly with books missing.
Of course, i recognise, that they might have been moved somewhere, but I think this is highly unlikely.
Also, if I ever remove books, I will either ask or, if the person in question is not around, I will leave a message.
It is then obvious that any 'missing' books have been taken somewhere specific and not potentially removed without permission.
This is a very blunt and serious message to anyone who has removed books from my lab.
PUT THEM BACK ON THE FIRST DAY OF TERM.
