See, I believe in the old mighty gods of Originality, of Gameplay-Over-Graphics, of Devoted Developers and the masterful duality of Artistic Vision and Tasteful Delivery, wisdom found in ancient scrolls.

I know many people fall for the new, sexy gods of Must-Use-Unreal-Engine, Controller Support and Unicorn DLC, praised in many a glorious, lengthy song of the forum wars.

But the problem with the new gods is their abusive prophets. They preach water while drinking wine, they disrespect the craft and disregard its cultural legacy, spreading the misconception amongst their scholars that the most important thing in product management is profit, when in reality it should be customer satisfaction.

It's blasphemy, and Thor's Lightning shall crush and burn their temples for and deceiving and betraying their mortal brothers and sisters, and Odin will destroy their souls!
