So yeah, the title isn't misleading. This is a rogue. That means the world is randomly generated for you every time.
About this game in particular, it's fun, it's hella fun.
I would like more combat options but pogo simulator is by far the best they could add.
Every time your character dies three more are created with random traits that alter stats that influence combat and gameplay quite a bit, and some that are just visual. Oh god the visuals.

Soundtrack's pretty neat, of which Forest boss, Tower boss and Tower BGM rank as my favourite

A bunch of bosses with challenging mechanics and hard-ish platforming!
Different classes and equipment with stats and characteristics variated enough to have a wide range of builds and playstyles!
Comedy and random things that are always fun to watch!
Minibosses and challenge rooms!
Points of the game where your inner touhou player comes out to get out of bullet hell
"Panic button" abilities to help with the bullethell's!

If this game has one downside it'd be the amount of time it takes, and that's not even got to be a downside. ('cause you might want to get your money's worth playing the entirety of the game)
If you take it nice and slow to get the things, like i did, you'll have runs of 20-40 minutes, over and over. Remember not to get too tired of it, i suggest you do a bunch of runs every now and then. Or just go hard at it. You do you.
