PROS:
+ really fun gameplay
+ nice variety of funky weapons
+ classic graphics
+ difficult but fair missions

CONS:
- less variety compared to newer Worms games
- clunky online mulitplayer (local co-op works fine)
- AI can seem dumb sometimes

Comment:
The first game in the Worms franchize I have ever played. And I played it with my friend for hours and hours and hours. This game was (and I dare say still is) very addictive and fun. A variety of cool weapons and gadgets to get rid of the opposing worms (or to surrender...coward). This was improved in Worms World Party, which is unfortunately missing here on Steam. But Armageddon is the next best thing! The newer Worms games are okay too but somehow even though they have more variety it is still Armageddon that grabs my heart. Online co-op is clunky and problematic but that can be expected from a game this old (although a fix would be nice). It still takes from the rating I give this game. My personal view on this game is that it is best played with someone right at your side so you can see the stupid look on their face when you have a chance for a double-kill on their worms...and they can see yours when you mess up and kill your worms instead. It is a cool game worth recommending so go and grab it!
