Shaman Game Studio is perhaps not a well-known studio but their games are really promising, at least for that one even if the game is very short. (about 3 hours)

In Witch's Pranks you embody the queen who will lift all the curses on both prince and princess. You'll never hear her voice but you'll sometimes read what she understands from each frog and sometimes she will only translate what the frog says. The story is good as you'll need to save some famous princesses. (Snow White, (Long Haired) Rapunzel... )

Now let's talk about the bonus contents. You'll have some screen savers, music, concept art and wall papers as well as a bonus story and some in-game achievements. If you finish a whole row of achievements (mostly 6) you'll unlock a frog and his 6 postures. Then you can go in the extra contents choose the frog and the posture you like and you'll get an awesome animated avatar picture. Let's go back to the puzzles and hidden objects scenes.

The puzzles and items' interaction are much more present that the hidden objects scenes. There is a wide range of puzzle including some difficult but mostly easily doable. Many item's interaction and a few hidden objects scenes. A scene consists in finding the shattered parts of the hidden objects shapes and combine them in the scene.

The game features an inventory where you can store items to combine with the environment to go deeper in the story.

The game have several difficulties and have a guest feature : all the family can play the game and resume it where they left. Also you can use the Hint/Skip hourglass whenever you want and wait until its refill to use it again. But be warned that you may not skip any puzzle or hidden objects scene if you wish to have some in-game achievements.

As I said it previously, the game has some in-game achievements. 12 for the main story and 9 for the bonus story. Most of them are obtained with the story / bonus story but some requires you to not skip any puzzle or hidden object scene of the whole game.

I've experienced some crash while playing the game but it may be linked to my computer which has some issues. Please have a look further in the game's discussion to see if someone else experienced that. But anyway that's not bad if it happens as you may resume the game at nearly the same point.
