Unfortunately, GOG is out of the question for me at the moment. The weak Canadian dollar has made GOG is too expensive since they do transactions in USD for anyone in North America.
Steam, on the other hand, has games in CAD listed with a very favorable exchange rate involved. I've calculated it and the prices listed on Steam in Canadian are less than if you took USD and converted it to Canadian, which is what occurs on GOG. In addition, prices being in Canadian means no conversion fees charged by credit cards.
