There is going to be a new steam group. Stick with reddit.com/r/streetfighter for details. Once we start hosting SFV newbie nights I'm afraid this group is going to get a whole lot more empty.

Thank you for growing with the group! I myself have gotten better too with help from other newbies just by osmosis mainly. The thing is, this group and the new SFV group will ALWAYS be about the new players first. Please understand that you must announce your skill before joining or inviting anyone to a lobby.

If we feel you are taking advantage of this by getting easy games to win or any other reason for being here that isn't helping new players, you're just going to get banned.

Remember, this group is about being a safe haven for new players and a way to find friends first. Learning the game is a distant 3rd! Seems weird right? Well that's how it has to be to create the welcoming environment we strive for for new players so they don't get discouraged and quit. We just want to grow the FGC from the ground up!
