This is a good point and I'm considering to change our policy accordingly.

Posting more games that support Linux but aren't listed on the Store page.
This criteria page specifies that the game is supposed to support Linux well, but that was not on the main page until now.
Not entirely sure what to do about hidden Linux betas. Probably worth highlighting them, if they aren't bugged.
My main idea: allow games that support Linux but without a SteamOS badge on the store page, only if they work well, even if it requires a workaround.
On the one hand, I feel a bit uncomfortable with recommending games when Linux isn't officially supported, but on the other hand, if people are eager to try a game while it's in an open beta, it's good for all of us if that game has more Linux testers to help highlight issues, and it might lead to an overall more positive "Linux experience" for the developer and might speed up the release. So, I guess I'm leaning towards recommending them.
I think that's a good idea as well, but in certain cases, like with AIR games, we should point out that they probably won't work on SteamOS at all (as far as I know).
