**General Information - Start Here!**
Welcome to the 2017 GASR Summer Series! Featuring GASR Team Racing! This is a brand new series hosted by all three admins of Grid Autosport Racers! There will be four weeks of tight, clean Team vs. Team vs. Team racing!

Joining teams
Participants of our community may join one of three teams: Gray, Orange or Blue (each captained by an officer), by signing up at either the gray signups, orange signups, or blue signups, and joining the appropriate RaceNet club. You can now race in the 2017 GASR Summer Series!

Once you select a RaceNet team, you are not allowed to change it, unless officers from both sides agree to.

Joining events
This series is aimed more for beginner and intermediate level drivers! You only comment once on the team thread, and will get a server invite at the event starting time each Sunday (as long as you're ONLINE IN THE GRID AUTOSPORT RACERS GROUP CHAT at the time). If you don't make it by the first race, fret not as you'll be able to join the server before the second race.

You are not mandated to participate in every single event, however your participation is appreciated, and every race counts!

Take note that we reserve the right to kick and block any noticeable cheaters, or others who are deemed bothersome.

The team winner will be tallied up at the end of the tournament season!

Qualification and lobbies
If more than 12 drivers show up at event start time, there will be a qualifier to get into the event. It would be a time-attack on the first track, set for 5 minutes, and the top 12 drivers get to be in the lobby. If more than 18 drivers show up, there will be a qualifier to determine who races in the first lobby, and a second lobby will be created for everyone else (both lobbies will have equal number of racers. In the latter situation, both lobbies will have their points count toward the points standings (don't worry, I planned for this in case it happens!)

If less than 12 people from teams show up, then other members from the community can be invited, but their results won't affect the team standings.

Our highlight for this Series will be an advanced Google Sheets Standings Sheet! Check out the last sheet for an idea![docs.google.com] Participate in the series and see yourself among the best around the world! Check out several statistics over the course of your time with us, compare your stats with the opposing team and individuals, and more! This is a one-of-a-kind professional points sheet unlike anything else for online gaming, so check it out!

Is there a way to play without resets?
What do you mean by resets?

No flashbacks, so if you crash you have to deal with the damage you caused to your car.
This could cause players to drive less risky and more clean.
Yeah but accidents happen for various reasons. This is a beginner / intermediate level series anyways.
