Casual Server Bans

Permanent ban reasons
- Hacking
- Abusive behaviour towards any admin.

Temporary ban reasons
- Abusive behaviour towards any player
- Chat / Mic Spam
- Using smurf account with motive to abuse rules and disturb server gameplay.



1. Once there are 12/18 (6s/HL) people in the server, all players will join Spectator immediately, When u See ROLL on the Screen Last 2 to join Spectator will be Forced - selected as Medic Captains who will battle out and the winner gets the 1st team pick.
-Keep in mind IF you want to be the captain of a team Do not Join the Spectator when the Rolling Starts

2. In case you did not get picked or if you were not on the server when the roll happened dont worry you will be +1.
-+1's will get have higher priority of getting picked 1st in the next game

3. Players are expected to listen to the TEAM CAPTAIN and follow his instruction even if you do not agree with it. Failure to listen to your TEAM CAPTAIN repeatedly may result in a temporary ban from the server.

[Team Captain]

--> Captains will mostly be the 2 most experienced players on the server or can be anyone who is picked and accepted by others.
--> Captains will be responsible for selecting players to play on their team and has the power to tell his team mates which class to play when to OFFCLASS etc.
-you must not OFFCLASS at any given time without the captain's permission

4. Player cannot be insistent on playing a particular class for more than 2 pugs however you can express your preference for a class, but if the captain rules it out, then you must be open towards playing other classes as well.

5. Abandoning / Leaving in between a PUG without getting a sub first may result in a temporary ban from the server.

6. We all are Humans and we all make mistakes, so please do not rage or get angry at team mate or enemy players for any given reason when in the pug server. Keep in mind we all play to learn and improve and help each other in learing and improving.

7. Trolling in a PuG game will result in a temporarty ban from the server.

OFFCLASSING RULES

- No offclassing if mid is not capped
- No offclassing entire game
- offclassing is allowed when defending last (Heavy Engi Sniper spy pryo allowed ~ but dont push to mid)
- offclassing is allowed when pushing last (sniper spy - NO Heavy Engi or Pyro)
- DO NOT offclass to mid at any given time to cap mid
- NO more than 2 offcasses at a time

offclassing is actually not against the rules but here on GIC we follow the standard meta

Offclassing and pushing to cap will just spoil the fun and it will be a bad experience for the new players ~

Why so many rules in offclassing?

Well GIC is a community of newbies to pugs, majority of them play pugs to enjoy a new game mod apart from the casual game play, and also no one here has any interest in taking competitive tf2 seriously to the next level - meaning their game stays inside GIC not interested in UGC or AFC or any competitive play.
IF you do There are other pug servers out there that Teach and Train you to play pugs and patch you up, : ) .. Here we teach newbies and we enjoy the game

4th offence - Perma Ban

3.Chat/Mic Spam
1st offence - Warning
2nd offence - 30 minute gag/mute
3rd offence - 1-3 day gag/mute (based on severity)
4th offence - Perma gag/mute
~Gag/Mute will be issued on both Server and Discord

4.Using Exploits in map or game
1st offence - Warning
2nd offence - 1 week ban
3rd offence - Perma Ban

5.Disobeying Team Captain
1st offence - Warning
2nd offence - 1-3 day ban (based on severity)
3rd offence - 1 week ban
4th offence - Perma ban

6.Trolling
1st offence - Warning
2nd offence - 1 week ban
3rd offence - Perma Ban

- Feel free to contact any admin if you require any assistance.
- We rarely use permanent ban on server
- Any steamrep banned / pending reports / trade banned/ vac banned players will be banned from server without giving any reason.
- Server Perma ban will never be lifted.
