Not sure if this is the right place to post this and I've looked for similar posts and found none.
I have to say that the treatment, stupidity and tone of Flying Bundle's support (especially at the end) are what really matters to me - not so much the old Desura key they had me waste.

If the developer decided to provide us with multi-format keys, there must of been a reason for that decision. Any fallout regarding their decision, should be their responsibility not ours.
That being said, customer care is of our highest priority. As I mentioned earlier, when you are free, if you would like to contact me. I'm sure I can assist you in bringing this matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
This wasn't about the format of the key (if the site had a separate tab for Desura and Steam like the other games did, with the same key under each, that would've made a little more sense). As it was, the key quickly became less important than the treatment I received. Knowing I didn't intend to use the key yet, they told me to throw it away to see if it worked. Then started making excuses, seemingly misunderstanding things on purpose, contradicting themselves, back-pedaling and trying to make me look like the "bad guy". All signs of people who don't want to take any responsibility.
Sorry, there is no way I can consider that appropriate.
As support stated, we have a zero tolerance approach to 3rd party resellers. At the point where you disclosed to support that your intention was to breach our contract by either trading or reselling keys from one of our bundles, they would of been quite within their rights to withdraw your service entirely.
We have a duty to protect developers from customers who desire to use their keys in less than honest ways, and that's exactly what support did.
Feel free to check our terms of service here,[flyingbundle.com] mainly section V. This will ensure issues like this won't arrise in the future.
I've read that since and I find it curious that you didn't bring it up in your previous reply, since that was made clear in my emails - only after I explained how you and they were wrong. They didn't bother to bring it up right away, either. In fact, if you had bothered to pay even a little attention, their second reply to me included this sentence, "So, you can trade the same key with your friend to activate on Steam if you don't want to redeem it yourself on your Steam account." Part of my later reply? "Interesting, then, that I was told BY SUPPORT to "violate [your] ToS" and that I could still TRADE my Steam key AFTER I had already used the Desura key!"
I only realized it was in the ToS (a very small section) after THEY, themselves had told me to violate it. Really, how hard is it for any of you to read and pay attention? I was treated very badly by this place and it's no surprise that you're doing the same (doesn't reflect well on Opium Pulses, either). If you delete this conversation, it'll show your guilt (I'm keeping copies).
You know, just doing the right thing (apologizing at the very least) and having some clue as to what they were doing, would've saved a lot of trouble for all parties involved. You may think I'm making a big deal over nothing, but I was abused much of my life (I'm not trying for pity, here, just explaining, so drop any thoughts of a comeback about me playing for pity or something), am very polite, but will stand up for myself and others if I feel I (or they) have been wronged or mistreated.
I very much doubted that you could "assist [me] in bringing this matter to a satisfactory conclusion.", so I'm glad this was all out in the open, instead of hidden in a PM. As I said in my first post here, "Make of it what you will.", I'll let others decide for themselves what to think. If they think I'm an idiot, fine.
You were right about one thing - there won't be any issues like this in the future, at least from me, because I'm done with the site. Thank you for making that decision more definite.

Hmm, looks like this site is dead... er, dead-er, lol, and has been for almost a year. No wonder after the poor treatment from the "bundle" site and the op here who couldn't refute my claims, but just decided to insult, delete a post and go silent. Clear sign that they know I was right. They couldn't even be bothered to help one of the few people who've posted, since my own thread, here.
