Group Rules
WHEN YOU ARE ONLINE, PLEASE BE IN THE GROUP CHAT

Rules updated May 16th.

Rules for members:
1. Keep this group private and don't discuss it outside of the group or with people who aren’t members of the group.
2. Be respectful to everyone.
3. Play the game. If you are inactive for a long period of time, you will be kicked out but you can always ask to join again when you are active again. Inactivity means being away for a month without saying anything. If you don’t play Wizard Wars for a while but do play other steam games, a moderator will ask you if you want to stay in the group.
4. Try to make it to some of the 4v4s and always be a team player.
5. If you are caught being disrespectful or macroing/cheating, you will be kicked.
6. Pop into the Group Steam Chat whenever you’re online. If people are in the voice chat, hop into it too even if you can’t talk, you can still probably listen.
7. If a dev pops into chat or raidcall, respect them and treat them like any other player. Don't badger them about patches or balance changes.
8. If a clan member is being disrespectful, bring it up to an admin/mod or the clan leader.

Rules for clan members:
1. These apply to members in this group who are in a clan.
2. No clan promotion in the group chat, events, raidcall, etc. If we catch you, we will warn you. Second offense gets reported to clan leader. Then you just get kicked.
3. Same rules apply to a clan member who is being disrespectful.
4. If a clan wishes to play together during a 4v4, they can do so as long as everyone else is okay with it. The clan has to have 4 (or more) people at the event to do this.

Qualifications for invitation/expectations as a member:
1. Student of the game: someone who is commenting on game mechanics and asking about them with friends and the group.
2. Active player.
3. Shows a high degree of skill or potential (this does not mean killing sprees, but means that they express a knowledge of team-wide tactics and are not afraid to drop into a support role when necessary).
4. Is trustworthy and respectful.
5. Understands the mechanics of the game at a solid level (proper use of wards and other defenses).
6. Speaks English (we need a common language that all of us know).

Rules for officers:
1. Be respectful to all of the members and other officers.
2. You are given slightly elevated permissions such as changing this description and avatar. Don’t do that without clearance from zzcorrode first.
3. Kick someone if you think they are behaving disrespectfully but have evidence (screenshot or somesuch).
4. Only invite people you think will benefit the group as a whole.

NOTE: Rules apply to all members, including developers and people of respected statuses.
