Just remember to put "[ASCII]" in front of your thread title if you're posting ASCII art.



These guidelines apply to all places in the Club ASCII group where users can post content. This includes, but is not limited to, discussions, comments, anouncements, etc.

Please note that group Administrators/Moderators reserve the right to change/edit/delete/move/merge any content at any time if they feel it is inappropriate, abusive, or incorrectly categorized.


- Posting ASCII that is offensive to any race, culture, or religion will be removed and the offender will recieve a temporary suspension or ban. No exceptions, especially for Holocaust themed ASCII art.
- ASCII that contains intense sexual/pornographic themes will be removed and the offender will recieve a temporary suspension or ban. The factor of it being intense or not is up to the moderators jurisdiction.
-Only investors are to use the investor ASCII packs. Distribution of these packs (including off-steam) will result in consequences that are enforced by Club ASCII's moderators.


Do not do any of the following:

-Flame or insult other members
-Bypass any filters
-Abuse or encourage abuse of the Reputation, or Post Reporting Systems
-Post personally identifiable information (i.e. name, address, email, phone number, etc.)
-Post links to phishing sites (strictly enforced)
-Repetitively post in the incorrect thread
-Openly argue with a moderator


Do not post any topics/replies containing the following:

-Porn, inappropriate or offensive content, warez or leaked content or anything else not safe for work
-Any discussion of piracy or the following will result in a permanent ban from the group including, but not limited to:
- Cracks
- Key generators
-Console emulators
-Cheating, hacking, game exploits
-Threats of violence or harassment, even as a joke
-Posted copyright material such as magazine scans
-Soliciting, begging
-Racism, discrimination
-Drugs and alcohol
-Religious, political, and other “prone to huge arguments” threads

No Backseat Moderating:

Let the moderators do the moderating. Backseat moderating is when people who are not moderators try to enforce the group rules. If you see a person breaking the rules, take advantage of the Report () button or simply ignore the offensive post(s), thread, or comment.


Repeated Offenders:

Offenders of the above rules and guidelines will be given a formal warning from the Club ASCII staff but repeated actions will be punished with suspensions and in some cases bans from the group. Any moderator has the ability to ban a user for violating the rules at their discretion. If any extreme behavior is seen, Steam will be notified without hesitations.


Rules roughly based off of Steam guidelines, the rules and guidelines are solely for the guidance of "Club ASCII" members.

Report any suspicous or un-acceptable activity to an group moderator.

We don't mind spam if its ASCII art, we only mind if you go overboard of course.
