URPS RULES
Read ALL the rules CAREFULLY!

These rules will be updated frequently, without notice. Please keep an eye on this for
updated rules! Your goal on this server is to make roleplay fun for yourselves AND others,
not win gun fights.

Breaking any rules can result in a ban.

REMEMBER TO ROLEPLAY EVERY SITUATION THAT YOU CAN

To have a weapon license you must have an item in your inventory. (332 - Fertilizer - this item will work as a gun license) It will cost you $1000.
If caught without a weapon license you can be charged up to $5000. Police officers do not need weapon licenses.

- Police Station

Basic Rules:
While playing on the server, you must have an RP name (Firstname Surname, for example: Michael Guntley)
No RDM (Random killing is not allowed, if you have been randomly killed, make a screenshot and post it on the forums.)
No KOS (Kill On Sight)
No Meta Gaming
No Building on roads
No Unreal Building (use your common sense)
No scamming
No Combat Logging
No Insulting
Follow NLR (New Life Rule - if you die, you do not remember who killed you etc...)
Use common sense
Do NOT steal clothing of Police/Firefighter/Medic
Do NOT rob/kill anyone in spawn
Do NOT failRP
YOU CANNOT KILL MEDICS AND FIREFIGHTERS
Excessive Microphone and chat spamming is not allowed.
Every player has to speak/write English ONLY.
Destroying of player-built structures is not allowed and will be consiered as griefing!!!


Combat Rules:
In order to rob other players, you must initiate. To initiate, you MUST use your
microphone and yell something along the lines on "Stop the car" or "Get on the ground"
You cannot initiate from far away, you must be right next to them.

When robbing someone, you must give them at least 10 seconds to drop their items. If
they don't comply you can shoot them. You CAN steal everything they have, including all the
money they have on them. In order to steal their money you should have a crate so they can
drop their items in. (Sometimes, money disappear after dropped on the ground)

If you are being robbed you must follow FearRP. Meaning you have to act as if your life
was on the line. Pulling a gun out on them while they have a gun pointed to you is FailRP.

If being chased by the Police, you can pull over to try and convince the officers you did
nothing wrong or you can flee. If you flee, you may be KOS for the police officers.

If you pull a weapon on ANYBODY for whatever reason you can be detained or shot by police.

In order to rob the bank you MUST type in global chat something along the lines of
"Bank Robbery In Progress" and you must be there of a total of 2 minutes before fleeing the scene.

When breaking into a house you MUST advert in global chat "House Break-in"

Building Rules:
If purchasing a house you must put a door and windows to make it yours. Then you can do/put
whatever you want in there.Also, you have to put a note with your name next to the door from outside.

You CANNOT build in the middle of the road or on buildings you don't own.

You cannot build in spawn, Police Station, Bank, or Firestation.

You cannot build on the side of the road.

You can build in the middle of the forest but it is not recommended

Vehicle Rules:
SPEED LIMIT in populated areas is 40. Outside of populated areas and on highway is 70.

Do not run over people on purpose

You CANNOT steal random vehicles. The only way to steal a vehicle is to have the owner beside or
in the vehicle.

Do not just hop into strangers vehicles without them wanting you to.

Police and Medic Rules:
As an officer/medic you cannot kill random/innocent civilians.

As an officer you can pull over speeding/wanted vehicles.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a cop you can arrest/detain anyone who discharges their weapon within city limits.
The fine you give them is $500.

As an officer you cannot be corrupt.

As an medic you must heal EVERYONE that ask.

As an officer you MUST initiate on criminals in order to arrest them. Something along the lines of
"This is the police, get on the ground"

As an officer you can only shoot at criminals if they shoot at you.

As an officer you can build roadblocks with your car only.

As an officer you must use correct police codes (if you can) Simple 10-x codes are listed below:
10-2 Signal Good
10-4 OK
10-9 Repeat
10-12 Standby (Stop)
10-23 Arrived at Scene
10-24 Assignment Complete
10-32 Man with a gun
10-90 Bank Robbery
10-98 Prison Break

Prison Rules:
Do NOT kill yourself or initiate on anyone if you are a prisoner.
When in prison, the only time you can leave is when someone breaks you out.
To break someone out you must Adert in global chat "PRISON BREAK" but be ready to face hordes of cops.


Situations:
You initiate on someone and they run into the safezone. You can still kill them because
you initiated outside the safezone.

You find a random car in the middle of nowhere. Should you steal it? No it is against the rules.

You have a ton of money on you and someone is trying to rob you. Do what they say, it is a game
you can make back all the money with some hard work.
