Please stop titling this "military", it does not represent the entire military, only the Army.
Zatreus 5 Jan, 2016 @ 2:35pm
And Marine Corps
Hess 5 Jan, 2016 @ 2:37pm
It doesn't represent that either, the Marines are A, a seperate entity, B, under the Naval Department.

You should add me as the Commander of 3rd Corps, As I have no editing rights.
The Commandant of the Marine Corps makes it clear we are not part of the Army branch. We are currently acting as Naval Infantry for the Navy despite our predecessors were founded by Charles Dietrich of the United States Army.

The lack of knowledge of USMC history is amazing. The Marine Corps never joined the Department of the Navy until 1834, meaning it is currently in it's own "department" entirely. Unless the current President and Congress put the USMC in the Department of the Navy.

So, that means, the Marine Corps is LAND Infantry, as it was established as. The Marine Corps was established in 1775 as INFANTRY. It was then put in the Department of the Navy in 1834. So it is currently it's own Department as elite Infantry.

The Marine Corps was established under the Navy Department in 1798 when it was reformed...
Hess 21 Jan, 2016 @ 2:53pm
And in 1775 is was established for the sole purpose of service on Continental Navy ships.
Hess 21 Jan, 2016 @ 2:56pm
Also, it was established under Samual Nicholas

Ask Colby, because the marines are placed under my purview as SECNAV.
Zatreus 28 Jan, 2016 @ 4:03pm
I mean, if you guys wanna stay with the slackers in the navy, be my guest.
Hess 28 Jan, 2016 @ 5:10pm
Slackers? The army doesn't do shit, meanwhile the Navy is fresh off winning the Quasi War, and is well on its way to ending piracy in the Gulf.

But ofc, if your ego is so puffed up as the ousted SECWAR, by all means, continue making a fop of yourself.

There are three total Posts from the Navy. But that's none of my buisness.
