Star System Data Logs

Just started systematically logging my stellar and planetary discoveries to a spreadsheet (for science, of course). To see detailed information about the planets in a system, find column E (Planetary Data) and click the "Link" URL corresponding to the system's row.

Here[docs.google.com] is the private control version that I am running.

I hope that this can help us figure out the specifics of the various mysteries that surround stellar systems and their planets. If you notice any sort of pattern developing, please comment here.

Should I post my star systems and other info here for you to add? (Since the game conveniently saves them for us in our discoveries and we can backtrack via the galaxy map with some effort?)

No need to backtrack. Continue forward. Catalog new results in the public file[docs.google.com].

Sweet, will do!

Please note that "planet type" and "moon type" refers to the header that appears in the planet/moon info box upon landing. You can only see this header once, when you land.

Will keep my notebook and pen (some of us still use those! :P) handy.

Good luck and godspeed, Traveller.

I would love to help, but I don't really get how this all works, and what it all means.. I am quite interested though..

The information for each star system is found in the Galactic Map when you select that star. You can then manually type that info into a new row on the spreadsheet.
