Can Street Fighter x Tekken Be Saved?
This game is deader than a door nail on PC and on life support on consoles... Now I know that sounded very negative, but I honestly want this game to be successful. What would Capcom have to change to make the game enjoyable?

Is it the lack of characters that bothers you, or is it because Capcom locked some away?

Possibly taking out gems and/or fixing the clock somehow

If they pause the timer during long animations like ultras and activating pandora, or slow the timer down. Fix damage scaling in combos, rollback teleporting and ditch the gems. I might play it online then.

I think supers shouldn't scale as much as they currently do... they're kinda useless in combos at the moment.

I'm not a fan of the tag team fights or the gem system. Just remove both of these features and maybe they'll allow it back at EVO 2013

You ask me, the online is still choppy even on a <30ms 30MB fibre connection

The only save is go back in time and destroy this game before it ever existed. Best solution.

Late post, but hey.
It's interesting to see that most of the suggestions are on gameplay -- which really needs major adjustments, I, however, have another issue with this game. The general art direction seems to aim at a very noisy style, colors and lots of elements on stage, it's probably the only fighting game that I need to take hourly breaks because of eye strain. The game itself is not that bad, but I just can't seem to play it for longer periods of time.

I think all non-default gem sets need to be disabled in online ranked and lobby matches (though perhaps not private friend matches), and that the netcode needs improvements, the game should ask you after each match if you want to save replay data like kof13 does, and maybe a few other changes - so many heroes shouldn't be locked away in dlc - if I could buy one hero at a time I would have gotten the ones I wanted already - but as it stands with no players, it's not worth that kind of money to me when I'd only play maybe 2 of the dlc heroes.

Also, I think if the price of the game were lowered to that of Skullgirls, a lot of people who havent tried SFxT might give it a chance - or perhaps a free weekend or something might bring some new players as well. I don't think prices are ever permanently lowered on steam though. Capcom should try to make whatever little bit of money they can on it and give it a chance to get some new players - $30 nonyan will pay for a fighting game nonyan will play - and then you don't even get all the heroes. KoF 13 doesn't lock away heroes, has better online netcode, and is the same price. A vastly different game yes, but SNK is playing things smart - I think their game will be much more successful on PC.
