A Quarterly Competition consists of 12 Weekly Challenges.

A Weekly Challenge normally takes place from:
Saturday 00:01 until Thursday 23:59 Amsterdam Time


To participate in the challenge of the week:
post a screenshot in the topic [RUNNING] Week Challenge # xx, with your score.
*( see Screenshot Instructions at the bottom of this post )*

The catch: only your FIRST post with a current endgame screenshot-link will count during the challenge.
You can post multiple scores, but only the first score counts for the weekly challenge and the Quarterly Competition.

WARNING: edited posts and/or replaced screenshots will not count = DISQUALIFIED

A private tournament is also setup for the Week. Players participating will have their score entered upon tournament completion.
If a player has posted a screenshot and participated in the private tournament, the better of the two scores will be entered.


Ranking Points are awarded to all players making an entry for the weeks table.
This is a combination of
1) Points based upon the players' score on the table
and 1 of the following:

2) Bonus Points - a percentage of Points awarded in 1) above for posting a score
by Sunday end.
3) Personal Best Points - a percentage of Points awarded in 1) above for posting
a score that is a Personal Best.

Only one bonus may be earned (submitting a PB on the weekend only gives you the bonus once)


BEST 10 out of 12 Leeway:

Only your best 10 scores count towards the total.

That means you can skip up to two weeks for any reason (e.g. vacation, illness, work, not owning a table, forgetting to post) or just have a bad week, and those two weeks will have only a small impact on your overall standing.

To make it easier to speculate, the rankings table below includes the lowest 2 scores for each player. Those with small lowest scores have a catch up advantage during the last 2 weeks.


TIE BREAKING:

If by any chance players end up with the same score at the end of the competition, the tiebreaker rules are as follows: # entries, total game points.

o1) Hit F12 during the endscreen when you finished your game to make a screenshot.
o2) Upload this screenshot to your profile (public)
o3) Open the screenshot (click on the picture)
o4) Copy the URL from the TITLEBAR of the screenshot window or click the Share button and copy the URL shown.
o5) Paste this URL into the running weekchallenge topic as a reply
