Open Testing is a way for us to get community feedback on the direction we're taking the game. You can test new features, gameplay improvements, etc. and help us find any problems that need addressing.

How do I join Open Testing?

To join in with Open Testing, you can download the Open Testing app. It should appear in your Steam games library next to Extinction itself. The initial download is over 7GB, but patches after that should be smaller.

When does Open Testing take place?

We try to run scheduled group tests every weekend, usually on a Saturday, where we get a lot of people together for a big gameplay test session. Watch for announcements from this Steam group or in the Primal Discord Chat to know when it starts.

Where can I provide feedback and bug reports?

You can discuss new additions, provide feedback, report bugs and post suggestions in the subforums of the Open Testing steam group, or on the official Primal forums.

Please remember to read the latest build notes to see what's still unfinished or is a known issue. They will usually be posted in this subforum or in the Open Testing section of the offcial Primal Carnage forums within a couple hours of the latest update being made available for download.
