Hi everyone! This post should answer any/all questions regarding our group and how raffles/giveaways work :

Q: What's the difference between Raffles and Giveaways?

A: Raffles and Giveaways work essentially the same except Raffles require an entry fee and Giveaways do not.

Q: How do Raffles/Giveaways work?

A: Each Raffle and Giveaway will have instructions/rules on how to enter on its page. MAKE SURE TO READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS. After following those instructions, you will be assigned a number-- whether it be on a list on the post or just noting what number commenter you are. Once the raffle either ends at a time period/has all slots full, then the winner will be chosen by a random number generator like Random.org. How this works is we enter the number of entries there are, and the program picks a number between 1 and the last numbered entry INCLUDING 1 and the last entry, and the number it picks is the winner.

Q: How are the entry fees from Raffles used?

A: Fees obtained from raffles made by staff are used generally to get more items to raffle off. This makes it so we can get more sought-after items such as paint, stranges, and (in the future) unusuals. Fees will never go over one refined, and will generally stay as low as possible (around a scrap or a rec)
