I was one of the #531. We were so excited about this opportunity. We'll run for a chance for the 100mln badge. We thought it would be hard. Neither of us knew what we were going to face.

It all started on the 10th day. I was following the group, hoping to leech a room and playing with scripters so I can reach the badge. I haven't ever liked the scripts, so it was the only opportunity to get to big numbers. But the upper management decided to pull a new strategy: using a new extension that will handle all the things, including joining rooms. They have sold us that very well: promise of victory, more wormholes and avoiding the plague of the trolls.

They were wrong.

Suddenly I have to made a decision. Should I go with the extension? Or try to wait and see if something leaks? What if I join the mighty YOWH army? I was so confused, but in the end I decided to give a chance to the new plan. Plan D, how they called it. Sounds good.

We were deployed on the ground at around 30mins after the initial assault. I saw the eyes of my comrades. Eyes of fear, eyes of uncertainity. But also eyes of hope.

We were strong: facing all the evil that Steam threw us, slaying the small ones, channeling the big boys through wormholes.
Propaganda was exciting: "Use wormholes for a brighter future".

We were strong: from the reports we can tell our platoon was one of the best. We faced highs and lows, but overall our determination was a success. United, everytime we saw someone that was going for his road, we spoke to them, to compact the group. #531 wasn't just a room, it was a way of thinking.

Lieutant Dr. Windu gave us the faith. Generals Wchill and Pawsed gave us the weapons. Generals Minz and Xcava gave us directions, and our supervisor the almighty Ulletical told us where to combat. We were just 1500, but with the right support, we were an army of milions.

And then the unexpected.

We're told during the night of failures in other platoons. Someone was trolling. How is it possible? Wasn't the system studied to avoid them? Panic started arising among us. People in other rooms started living to join other platoons. It was a bloody mess. I don't know for certain if someone leaved there, or if we started from the beginning with it, but someone was sleeping unobserved. No one was really sure about that but trolls can been in our room too.

I remember the furious shouting: "Stay in your rooms!" "Don't leave them, we will win!"... That were just lies, but people in charge knew that the only chance for success was sticking together.

Even when we saw 3 groups of us failing, allies brought us strength: We can do it, like them, they reached the badge, it's just a matter of endurance.

Many hours passed and we were close to the goal. "#531 is going to make it" "#531 is strong, it will not fail". Many messages were spoken from mouth to mouth. In the meantime we saw some of us reaching it, #481, #492, #514, as some of our allies, so we were pretty confident.

And that was the moment. The beast was awakened from his sleep. He was going to bring us destruction.

And so it begun, the final struggle. We saw his name, "Fake Newell". He was a troll, no doubt about that. He was going to nuke all the golden helms. Our channeling kept failing, his laugh stronger and stronger. "How is it possible that a single enemy can block us?" Many of us questioned themselves. Nuke after nuke he became the real evil of the world. General Pawsed was in a cold sweat. He needed a solution, a fast one. And so he spoke:

"We were going to nuke the sh** out of him"

The plan was simple. All other strategies canceled. We were rushing 'till the clock is ticking. The final rush, for the glory. The intense clicking, the pain in the hands, the extension overclocking just for us.

But time was impartial and so our time ended. We were there almost. 98,5 milions, our battle finished.

We lost against an enemy that we had understimated. He was lurking in the shadows and he hitted us when we were confident. Anger, frustration, crying. We failed.

But #531 was strong enough to survive. We haven't reached our objective but we are still a group. We lived long enough to see all of this and we will remember in our hearts. And maybe one day, evil will arise for a second time. And we will be there, #531, guided by our generals. To bring justice, to reclaim our prize.

In memory of the heroic deeds of Room 49531(#7), I leave to you this tale.
