Given our interests and goals with Gladiator Gaming we thought it would only be fitting to get directly into the more competitive side of things. Insurgency is a game that has quite a bit of potential going forward and we truly want to see what is possible. *Brief tournament rundown*

Best of 1, (finals bo3) single elimination bracket, MR16 with single round sudden death style overtime. Eligibility for the tournament is being signed up on time and being a member of the Discord. Any cheating or rule breaking will result in an indefinite ban from the Gladiator Gaming community. 32 Team cap.

~ 1. Players ~

1a - Players must maintain a respectful attitude towards all players and staff throughout the entire event.
1b - Inappropriate names will not be tolerated, players will be warned and given 5 minutes to change their names for the remainder of the tournament, failure to do so may result in a disqualification.
1c - Any third party software and or game altering customization is prohibited, this includes and not restricted to; application tampering, scripts, custom files. Overlays other than fps and netgraph are also not allowed.
1d - Players are responsible for getting proof of their round wins.
1e - Any blatant match dispution will result in a permanent ban from all Gladiator Gaming events.
1f - Although we allow players to participate from more distant locations, any negative effect on a match cause by poor connection will result in a forfeit.
1g - Team captains are required to be in the designated discord atleast 15 minutes before the tournament starts, failure to do so will result in a forfeit.
1h - Teams are allowed to stream their matches at their own risk, matches may also be streamed by Gladiator Gaming partners or commentators.
1i - Spectating unless done so by and authorized streamer is not allowed.
1j - Player substitutions must be made on team applications or player addition forms. (7 total players allowed per team.)

~ 2. Format ~

2a - Tournament will run on a single elimination bracket.
2b - Best of 16 rounds (9 rounds to win.)
2c - Overtime will run gauntlet style, for the sake of time, meaning the tied map will be repeated with the winner being decided by the very first round win.
2d - Starting sides are determined by bracket seed, higher seed will pick first side.
2e - Overtime sides will remain the same as round 16.
2f - The tournament will run on a best of 1 format with maps being decided by bracket rounds.

~ 3. Matches ~

3a - Server crashes will result in a replay from the last fully finished round, meaning if half way through round 6 the server crashes, the match will restart from where it ended after round 5.
3b - If a player disconnects mid match the player must reconnect or a substitution to replace.
3c - Teams will be limited to one pause per match, up to 5 minutes in length.
3d - Teams have 15 minutes from the scheduled start time, contact an admin to report a No Show.
3e - Teams are permitted to play down a play if need be, but team must have a starting 5 on sign up for eligibility.
3f - Matches will be played on Gladiator Gaming servers.
