Regarding Rule breaking Discipline -

Now that the servers are back open, we will be making some changes to how people breaking the rules on server will be punished, and how admins will be expected to deal with situations. When the server was up before, we had a fairly strict, zero-tolerance policy against rule breaking - this time around, we intend to relax these rules a little. The purpose of this is to provide a more enjoyable experience for people on server, not only for the players, but for the admins as well.

For this to work, a major change being implemented will be the way that warnings,
kicks and bans will be handled. In place of the original system,
we will now be using a system which involves a warning and a timeoutban(example 5hrs for causing trouble in games), instead of the hard line kicks and bans which were used in the past.
Hopefully, this will still deter players from breaking the rules, whilst still leaving them the opportunity to return and enjoy the server, after they've had a chance to cool off.

Aside from this specific change in protocol, admins and owners also
need to take into consideration how rule breakers are approached
and dealt with verbally. We don't want the server to feel like
a dictatorship, so be sure to take a more relaxed approach to
how you deal with situations. Immediately reprimanding and disciplining
players for the slightest of infractions won't leave any of the
parties involved with a good feeling afterwards.(aka dead server)

People deal with these kinds of things differently than they did a couple of years ago,
so keep doing your best to keep GHS an enjoyable place to play!
