No_Quitters Rules
The Civilization United group adopts the No_Quitters group rules.

General game rules:

You may not quit, unless..

i You lost your capital city
ii All players agree your civ is irrelevant to the development of the game
iii All players agree the game is over (CC or Scrap)
iii Real life issue comes up (frequent users of this rule will be monitored)
iiii A game with technical problems can be scrapped with majority vote

If the game crashes, ALWAYS meet in chat or Teamspeak for a reload.

If a player disconnects, all players have to wait at least 10 mins for him to reconnect; game can then continue, be scrapped, or a substitution may be found.

If you spawn Venice you may request a rehost.

Only play when you have enough time:
4 player game: 6+ hours
6 player game: 7+ hours

Feel free to host any type of game you like. When announcing the game in chat, Teamspeak, or through announcements, state what kind of game.
ex. 1/6 FFA NO MOD EU or 3/6 Map NA
Make sure to delete announcements of games that have already begun or finished

Any use of Exploits will get you banned.
These include but are not limited to use of trade bug and endless tech loop bug.

Shift-moves are not allowed.

Repairing opponent’s tiles are not allowed.

Abusing city states for training units, pillaging and repairing tiles, and making peace every turn while conquering are not allowed.

Holding grudges from past games is poor sportsmanship. Play to win, win and lose with dignity, and move on. It's just a game anyway - largely a war game, too.

Trading and allying is allowed with human players.

No trading or diplomacy with AI, except when peacemaking and 1 for 1 luxary trade. Sharing embassies is allowed with AI. Abuse of the AI in multiplayer games is not good sportsmanship.

No city trading except in peace dealings.

A player can only vote for his/her self for world leader.

All players should be respectful and display good sportsmanship, abusive players will be kicked.

Waiting out the turn timer to attack or other reason is considered poor sportsmanship
Suicide on purpose or staying in game without actually playing is considered worse than quitting.

Collusion or predetermined team play is not allowed. Playing not to win and or helping another player win is poor sportmanship
