[READ BEFORE POSTING] FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT TRADING
Thread will be updated.

1. I have X number of keys, what should I buy?
The answer differs at the various levels of trading. Generally, if you have a very small amount of keys (less than 40), what you buy isn't important. How much you buy it for, however, is. At this price range you need to look for deals where an item is being sold for 1-3 keys less than what you can resell it for. This is the only strategy that works at this level more or less.

If you have a bit more, lets say 100 keys, then flipping vanilla knives and bet skins for small profits is possible.

If you have 200 keys than a lot of opportunities opens up to you. High demand knives like Kara Fades, Kara TTs, Kara dopplers can be bought easily for pure keys and downgraded for 15-25k profit.

The key takeaway is that there isn't that 1 item that would make your trading easy and give you tons of profit but you just don't know what it is. Trading is about finding niches and riding them till they're not longer viable and then moving on to the next.

2.I have X item (that is on market), how much is it worth?
It is worth 85% of market price. If you have an item that's worth 100 dollars on market then: 100$ * 0.85/2.5 = 34. Your item is worth 34 keys. If an item is on market, you can most likely use this formula to get the key value. There are some exceptions of course but this applies to most market items.

3.My item has a great float, is it worth more than market price?
Obviously this is case-specific but for most items, a good float value doesn't add any value or very little. Exceptions
a) High tier items (Dragon lores, fades, sapphires, rubies etc)
b) Top 15 ranked float on csgo.exchange (doesn't apply to all items)
c) Specific skins for which a float, for whatever reason, increases value (0.180/0.999x float AWP/M4 Asiimovs for instance)

4.Who does X trader buy from? Can you give me your sellers?
This information simply will not be provided to you. To be blunt, it's self-destructive for me, nux or anyone else to disclose their exact trading methods/suppliers.

5.How much money/keys do I need to get bulk deals at low prices?
Depends on the seller. I will say that I personally don't consider sub-1000$ dollars to be bulk.

6.How do I learn how to trade?
Think of yourself as a sponge. You want to absorb all information that could potentially help you become a better trader. This means keeping mental notes when talking to people, reading old reddit threads, monitoring prices of items to figure out how the market works, learning which items sell the most based on the steam market, opskins etc.

Understanding basic economic concepts like return on investment, compounded interest etc will also help

I want to make this perfectly clear: there is no guide that will take you from knowing nothing to having enough knowledge to know how to trade. Everybody that's successful has either learned it on the way alone or had help from friends.

7.How many keys would allow me to make profit fast?
200+ keys

8.How do I cashout?
