Server Rules and Build/Vehicle Rules.
This is from the main group info, it was getting to long to save so it was split to this thread.

Server Rules:
(Rules with PVE/PVP tag apply to one or the other type servers, the ones without a tag apply to both server's. The severity will be in () after the rule.)
  • [PVE]Griefing isn't allowed on the PVE server(Adding, modifying, removing from other players houses without permission, Raiding, stealing cars/planes, or items in trades.). (Medium/High(high for massive griefs))
  • Don't try to evade a ban on the server. (High)
  • No harassing of other players on the server's. (Low-High, dependant on type, general flame war type: low, sexual harassment and racism: medium/high)
  • No hacking on the servers, which includes any type of hacking, ie, fly hacking, crashing the server, etc. (Highest if confirmed without suspicion, medium/high otherwise.)
  • No posting links to client mods on either server. (Low)
  • Don't spam the chat, or voice chat. (Low)
  • Don't try to exploit the economy system to get vast amounts of money. (Economy Reset/Low/Medium)
  • [PVE]No killing of other players intentially with campfires, leading zombies to them, or by teleport, items taken from a player under these condistions would be covered by the item theft rules. (Medium)
  • [PVP]No combat logging on the server. (Low)
  • [PVP]No KoS of fresh players, unless in self defense. (Low/Medium)
  • [PVP]Please don't exploit the games/maps bugs to get an unfair advantage against other people.(Medium/High)

Potential Ban Length Times:
(based on severity)
  • Low Offense: 1 hour to 4 days.
  • Medium Offense: 4 days to 14 days.
  • High Offense: 14 days to permanent.
  • Highest Offence: permanent on all servers.

Other Info:
For things like market exploits, the first offence usually results in a reset of your economy account instead of a ban, further offences can result in a ban. If you find an issue with the market you should report it to one of the admins and not abuse the exploit yourself.



Build Rules:
These are the set build size rules for the server's. These exist to keep lag down for the other players on the server.

Rules:
These go by volume in cubic rooms and not strict dimensions, so this can allow for odd shaped bases.
All servers: (size in tiles/floors in x, y, z, with a number of players in them.)
4x2x4 at 1-3 player, 5x2x5 at 4-6, 6x2x6 at 7-....
Volumes:
4x2x4: 32 cubic rooms(cr), 5x2x5: 50cr, 6x2x6: 72cr, 7x2x7: 98cr.

6x2x6 is the max cut off for all server's, structures larger than this in volume will either need to be trimmed down or split up.

Server Decay Settings and info:
All the server's do have a decay set to them, so if you spend to much time off of the server your stuff will decay. It is possible to get the decay disabled if you're planing on spending an extended period of time off of the server, you would have to make a request in the forum here to have it disabled. One other way to get it so that your elements won't decay on the server is to get vip on the server by donating to it, info for that can be found in the donations thread.

The decay settings for the server's are: 8 days for PVE1, and 10 days for PVE2 and PVP.

Other Info:
Vip's on the server account for two players, and mod's/admin's account for three players. So a structure with two players, with one an admin and one a normal player, would be the same as a structure with 4 players and the size for that count would be acceptable in this case.

Vip's through admins can build base sizes upto plus one on the x and z sizes of the build dimensions(but the player count requirements would stay the same.).

For structures with multiple players in it, you should make set a metal sign stating all the players that are housed there, to make things easier for my admins to keep track of things. Skybases that are connected together by a path are allowed, each place at this skybase area would need to conform to the building rules.

The things on the server that were set before these rules went into effect and are out of range for the size of the place and number of players will be exempt from the rules as long as it's not more than one level above the range for size with the number of players it has(like a 7x2x7 size would be out of range by two levels if it has a player count for a 5x2x5 size.), and the base isn't made any larger than it currently is.

If the structure is larger than the allowed rules, an admin may ask to have it trimmed back.



Server Vehicle Rules:

  1. The maximum number a vehicles one player can own is one vehicle.
  2. For group bases the max is two vehicles for the whole gorup base, overides first rule.
  3. To help with performance on the server, try to keep the element count at or below 30 elements.

A vehicle is at risk of being destroyed by an admin if there are either too many vehicles for a player or a group base, or if the vehicle has too many elements on it(The highest count one's over 30 elements would be the one's at the greatest risk.).

Vehicle Insurance Rules:

Vehicles can be respawned once per day max for free, at an admins discretion. Not all of them will respawn vehicles. If a particular admin won't respawn one, don't demand that they respawn it, instead try looking for another admin to handle this. The insurance rules only cover the vehicles themselves, not the elements on them.
