Rules

This'll be a double elimination Showdown TDM.

Double Elimination means that if your team loses one game, you're not entirely out of the Tournament, but are instead placed in the loser bracket.
If you make it through the loser bracket and win against everyone else, you will fight the winner of the winner bracket for the final finals. But if you lose in the loser bracket, you're out.
SO IF YOU LOSE ONCE, DO NOT DISCONNECT, AS YOU ARE THEN PLACED IN THE LOSER BRACKET AND GET A SECOND CHANCE

No Timer
Be respectful to any player and any playstyle.

The whole team will not join the server at the same time, but rather the player who will fight next. How the team communicates and handles their order is entirely up to them.

The first player that connects to the server, will be the player who will officially fight next.
(So if Player A connects, but then Player B of the same team connects and states that he is supposed to go first, player A will fight next, as he connected first.)

Winner bracket: Quarterfinals will be bo5, semifinals bo7 and finals bo9 matches.

Loser bracket: Semifinals will be bo5 and finals bo7

Erm.. what does bo5, bo7 and bo9 mean? Only thing that comes to mind is Black Ops and I dont think there are 9 Blops games ;)

Best of.
Default is bo3, so you have to win 2 rounds.
Bo5 means best out of 5 rounds, so you have to win 3 rounds.

Question. Will there be warm up fights before the tournament starts? And will it stretch over multiple days?
I am still in school, so time and days can be an issue

No official warmups, as every player is supposed to warm up by himself, if he likes.
The tournament is gonna consist of 1v1s anyway and servers are mostly filled before a tourny starts, so no worries about that.

The tournament is most likely going to be held on a weekend, but we need more player input to decide on what weekend exactly.
There is a chance that we need to stretch the tournament over 2 days, but then it's probably just gonna be Saturday and Sunday, or just continued next weekend.
