Not sure if it'd be worth uploading the video, it's just an exterior of the unopened case for my own records.
will update this again after I find out how to check the specs.. (rather not open it up).
Invoice Number 263
I don't have an icon for ImageShack just yet, so I have not posted your link yet, apologies.
Everyone here has been added. I also added Cafeman who did not post here... so yeah... Please make sure you post here so I don't have to go digging through all the discussions. Also, if you see ones "in the wild" aka online, please throw links back here as well so we can try to find the user and add them to the directory.
I just had a thought.
I wonder that since we're the chosen 300, will Valve will give us a discount on the first offical Steam Machines? That'd be nice...

Sorry again for not putting my Box number here.
You're number 73. Number 1 is at the bottom right corner in this picture, and 30 is at the bottom left corner. Number 1 is above the USB 2.0 & KB ports.
I'm used to working on computers with the I/O ports on the left, face of the machine on the right, like I'm laying it down. In this instance, my tendency to conceptualize things in English (because, I'm, yanno, a native English speaker and all), took over and labeled that vent hole as #1 and so forth. Going down made some form of sense, but I figured if you look at the machine in the same way when working on it, and speak English, it would make more sense this way and confuse less people. In the case of Ellendi, she had her "book" upside down as it were and thus counted too high.
The reason I'm getting invoice numbers is to see if they point us to another logical numbering scheme other than the one I've created, if the invoice numbers can lead us to an official numbering scheme, then I can update the site to reflect the official steam numbers instead. I'll also take your word on it, no need to post the invoice numbers, you can just provide them. I'm trusting you all to post correct information, but post a confirmation screenshot of the vent holes so if there's a miscount like above, I can correct for it.
Look at Dusk's case as an example of how to read the case number correctly, if you line up your box like this, and then compare to my chart, you'll get the correct number every time.
Feel free to link my steam profile and the imgur album and whatever else you want.
Ahh! Okay, I'll correct it. 73, interesting that I have such a high invoice number.
Invoice Number: 14

Seeing as you have number 73 (according my numbering scheme), and your invoice number is only 10 away from being the highest number we can theoretically get, it's impossible to discern any sensible numbering scheme from these invoice numbers. It appears a handful of people scanned them all in at the same time so we ended up with random invoice numbers which can happen when you ship a bunch of independent items like this. At this point, the invoice number is no longer needed, we're not gonna get anywhere from that number. Thanks for trying though guys, I know you were just placating my need to solve puzzles.
#88 sir.
#164 confirmed.
