Welcome back, It's been a long time

I simply want to get together with some people and decorate the HL2RP map. Warning, long read below.

Currently we are set in rp_c18_v1, if anyone has other suggestions, feel free to talk about it with me. There is still time for a discussion about this too.

Other wise I plan on Wednesday, March 23rd, to be the day either I or a small/large group of people decorate C18. Remember, this is a Reunion. Anyone from any point in TC, DA, SoTA, Flux, or even before all of that are free to join. Some may not even know what DA or SoTA are. But those who do, I hope to see you at the reunion. Even those who were banned, kicked, or voted out by the community. I plan to open the doors to all. Even those who I seemed to dislike. I won't name names, but if you feel as though we left off on the wrong foot, this is a new chapter. New characters, new stories. It's been years. Feel free to join in the creation of this reunion.

If this reunion dies before it ever takes off, I most likely will discontinue progress. But a lot of people seem interested. Hopefully everyone is okay with fairly vanilla RP, because I don't intend on starting where TC left off.

Initially, here is what we'll need this Wednesday.

Plaza/Train station Exit:
The exiting of the Train station. Meant to be a grand opening like in HL2, but sadly it's a pile of shat. It's not until you reach the actual plaza that the setting of the city can be visualized. So this obviously needs props and little details added to it.

CCA Checkpoints: Checkpoint A, the Nexus Side entrance, needs a serious overhaul. It is a large outpost, designed to keep all Citizens out unless granted access. Whether it be manned or unmanned is up to us.

Checkpoint B on the other hand, is usually closed off and abandoned. The D6 entrance. Not as big as Checkpoint A, mainly because no one is allowed through. So a fence does nicely. Some people find ways over the fence or through it during special events. But rarely do we see anyone go near D6, as its a punishable offence to citizens. Much more severe than intruding checkpoint A. They know to keep their distance.

CAH: Rooms need things in them. But to add value to specific rooms, lets alternate which rooms get which items. Some rooms have a couch. Some have chairs. One might have both. See what I am saying?

District 6: If we want, we could even rename it. Although D6 fits very well.

This place is always a tough one to figure out. How serious can rebels get? What does it take to become a serious rebel? When you do become a rebel at all? Is it kill on sight, or detainment for rebels? What dictates which rebel dies and which can live? How strong are they? Can they take down Units?

None of that matters right now. I just want some debris in D6, destroyed cars, rusted metal. Some fun spots that people can get into and hide for a bit. I want each area in D6 to feel new, welcoming, yet very cold and intimidating. So the Slums should feel like a dead city. Apartments might have a story to tell. Idk, variety and a sense of discovery is never a bad thing.

D6 rules have yet to be discussed.

Any other place: These will be open for free props. Don't go over board. But anywhere that hasn't been mentioned can either be left alone, or can have one or two things added to it to your liking.

When Wednesday rolls around, I plan to attempt these all by myself. Unless someone wishes to come with me.

If you have questions just message me when I'm online. Together we can get this thing moving faster than I could alone. But don't let that mean there won't be a set Grand Opening day once we finish. When everything is said and done, I will take a little longer to fully open the server and remove any passwords on it. This way we can all be ready for it when it arrives, rather than it just slip through under the radar, and people come in and random times when no one else is on.
