If that is the only game you have a problem with , then you can right click that game in your library and select "view forum" and look for help on that game's forum, you see.

You can do this for just about any game on Steam if needed. Thanks.
Its the first game i actually bought on steam and its just does not want to go past the game cover and into the program it says the pc has a problem and it closes it up

I understand, but usually game issue topics here get referred to that game's forum, and I was just trying to give you the best advice on how to get the best help on the forums. This forum is about Steam and some PC issues when running Steam, you see.
ah alright i get you thank you for your help :)

This would be true if the game actually loaded. Please, directing people to the game forum is fine but this could be a Steam issue itself until otherwise clarified.

What I actually suspect here is the OP (luisdogs9) missed the 64 bit Operating System Requirement, which needs no referral to the game forum...
What do you suggest i do Vampire?

I am so very happy that you replied here to this. Because it is a difficult decision at times because of what I had originally been going by a while back, and that was your advice here...

I in no way wish to derail this thread about this good user's issue in order to understand better how to assist users on game issues, but if you could please reply in some way to help me to better understand in the future on how to give advice on things like this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As the good SV suggested, what is your operating system on that computer ?

Is it 64 bit or 32 bit ?

Thank you . We can keep trying to help you here as of now then. Sorry about my mistake before if so made.

Now, what is your antivirus program and you still should post your operating system, please. What Windows are you using ?

Have a look at this list and see if you have any software listed or similar software to that which is listed.

Pretty simple really. If the game does not load to even the intro vid or menu, the question belongs here for possible advice to contact support if nobody else can help.

If it gets to the vid or menu, it belongs on the game forum or publishers/developers support...

This thread is a good example. luisdogs9 has only one game and it doesn't load to the vid or menu which likely has nothing to do with the game itself. These issues are generally resolved here with advice from helpful users.

It certainly doesn't hurt to point to the game forums but it best to be sure there aren't any Steam issues to resolve first.

Pardon us for the slight derailment, Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Yes, it is a good example indeed.

I am so very happy and thankful that you replied and for your service in the fourms. AND because you cleared up something that has been bothering me for some time. I have a much better understanding of how it all works now and once again appreciate you making it very clear now.

Yes, forgive me again for going off here a bit more OP, but I had to reply to the good Silicon Vampire to make sure he knew how pleased I am with his posts here.
