Servers only in Brazil? What about Argentina?
"-Adding matchmaking servers in Brazil."

Why Valve adds servers in Brazil and not in Argentina? First only in USA and now in Brazil. Please Valve, we all pay for the game.

I am from Mendoza (Argentina) and for me is not the same a server in Brazil than in Argentina. Not all of us live at Buenos Aires. On unofficial Local Strike servers I get 60 of ping, but the brazilian servers give me 300.

it might not me that profitable, think about it, brazil has probably the most CSGO players of any latin american country and is located right at the center of the continent

You paid for CS:GO, not the right to have a server in your country. If you would like to pay a subscription fee, like for XBOX live, I'm sure valve can arrange to get you a server.

The ppl of argentina, chile, uruguay and paraguay got 300 ms to brazil!!!! brazil got 2 dns zones, valve got the servers in the wrong zone, im from uruguay and i got 50 ms to brazil in some servers, but i cant find mm with valve servers because the servers have 300 ms to me.
Please, we need servers on argentina, localstrike is the best choice for valve in argentina!!!
almost an entire continent speaks Spanish, put the servers in a Portuguese speaking country

The problem was: "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRAZILIANS THEY RUIN OUR GAME" "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRAZILIANS THEY RUIN OUR GAME" "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRAZILIANS THEY RUIN OUR GAME" "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRAZILIANS THEY RUIN OUR GAME" "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRAZILIANS THEY RUIN OUR GAME"

So, valve put some sv's in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Brazil. Nice, the same brilliant thing that a barbarian would do!

Uh, not quite. The number of players connecting from Brazil reached a point where it was economically viable to put servers there.

As to why BF3 has servers in Argentina and CS:GO doesn't: Almost 10 times as many people play BF3 compared to CS:GO.
BRs finally get servers so they can GET OFF NORTH AMERICAN SERVERS, then argentina people complain they dont have any..look how close you are to brasil, take ur 90 ping with a nearby nations servers or 180 on ours, pick.

The distance from argentina to brazil is less than from california to newyork. I don't know about the rest of you, but I get less than 100ms ping to new york. The issue for argentina isn't distance, it is infrastructure.
Pedropars 15 Aug, 2013 @ 7:49pm
Strange i´m from Brazil and i only get around 80ms if i go to a Dedicated Server hosted in Argentina, maybe there is some problem with your connection?
Tony 15 Aug, 2013 @ 8:31pm
