Titan passive abilities and bonuses
Hi! I modded a couple of the titans (made a separate instance for each one) and noticed the special abilities and bonuses are not linked to them. Are they hard-coded to function only with their respective ships or are those controlled via script? For example, I duplicated the Prosperity (new ship as Prosperity2), but the auto salvaging bonus doesn't work with the new instance. Any help would be appreciated.

Exactly what files do you need to edit to make a separate instance? Because I would like to but I only have my ship replace because I dont know how to make it a separate one.

There are a few files that need to be edited for a separate instance. First, you will need the ship definition files (.shp) from the Models directory. Then just rename the file and directory to whatever you would like (eg. Asteria to Asteria2 and Asteria2.shp) and modify the new instance instead of the original one. You'll also need to add an entry under name.txt in the Texts folder for the new name to show ingame. This can be done without modifying the original name.txt (assuming that these files will all be placed in the Mods folder). Just create a new name.txt and add the entry in there. Then, you will need to create an entry for the new ship in Ships.wdt in the Base folder. This can also be done in the same way as the name.txt. Optionally, you could also add an entry for the ShipTemplate.wdt and create a template for the new ship under Ships/Template/ByShip. That should be about it. Oh, and to save space, if you're only going to modify the ship's properties and not the model itself, then you do not need any of the other files, other than the .shp files, from the Models directory.
