this game hates AMD user
When I looked up on the spec req, I believe my laptop just enough to run this game, but when I play the game, keep crashing on the start up. trying the private beta didn't do anything.

What are your system specs?

Also, could you find your log file, post the content on pastebin.com and paste the link here?

You can find the log here:
[steam installation folder]\steamapps\common\Serious Sam 3\Log

Your GPU is borderline okay, I'd say, but we can try some stuff.

The log says your graphics drivers are too old, please try updating them first.
Also, what you can try is running the game in DX11 by right clicking on it in the library, pressing properties > set launch options and then type the following there:
+gfx_strAPI Direct3D11

Sry, you need to type in +gfx_strAPI OpenGL

The one I wrote in my previous post is for the console.
:)

In the console (you can open it by pressing the button below ESC, it's the tilde or backslash character but it depends on the keyboard), type the following (you can also use them in the launch options as said by Danny, just add a leading + to them):

ren_bMultiThreadedRendering=1

then restart the game and try at lowest detail, to see if anything works.
Then try the following, again in the console:

gfx_strAPI="D3D11"

restart the game and see if that makes it better or worse. If it makes it worse, go back to Direct3D 9 with the following, in the console:

gfx_strAPI="D3D9"

restart the game and then, if the performance is ok, you can try to raise the detail levels a bit until the performance drops again. You'd have to spend some time tweaking the advanced options if you want to squeeze every detail bit out of your system, but it's not really a gaming machine so don't expect much.

i see the button, but do i open console while in game??
yeah it is a lower spec laptop, thats why when I see this game min spec req, I believe my laptop can handle it, but eventually it needs advance tweaking.
