Grid Autosport XP FARMING problem
since the begining of the game there were CLUBS who try to reach the top of leaderboards making XP farming, playing short races, or ovals with 1 lap, and bots enabled, this kind of XP farming continues. you can see in the club leaderbords some clubs who increase and increase their xp points so much fast than others, they making xp farming without stop, all day playing always 1 lap races instead of focus to improve or having fun on races... i think that is a disreputable attitude, and it kill the game, inciting others to do the same thing

i think we can make the community focus again on the grid autosport game ( competition, clean and fair races, having fun ) if we take ANTI-XP FARMING measures, like put as minimum lap races on multiplayer lobby, 2 LAPS for normal and long tracks, and 3 laps minimum for short tracks or ovals, this will make the community focus again on competition and not anymore on XP FARMING, i hope you can help our community to focus again in the right things. thanks

I don't see the leaderboards as adding anything great to these race games. This game like many other CM games has a very grindy progression system, it requires a lot of hours to get those garage slots and currency to buy the top cars, there are also a steam achievement for getting to online lvl.250. My point is that I don't think we should make rules about how people play games, lets be happy racing with friends and good players for our own reasons and not worry about the people we don't race with.

there exist so many players who always play alone, with just a few friends, if they wanna play with others the only way is join in the custom lobbys, and 4/6 are farming xp lobbys, maybe you have your friends group who play always between them, but is not the same for others,i talking a bout the most part of the people who wanna open the game for make some good races, and find only xp farming lobbys, not everyone have a nice and big group like you

Let them have it. A leaderboard that is based on time spent playing is pointless anyway. Doing 1 lap ovals must be ridiculously boring so just let them suffer. :)

This is exactly how the playlists are set up so try playing there.

Surprisingly for powerful machines playlists exhibit 4-5 laps.
Slower 3, 4-5 laps. But the short track, respectively

that's why i play most of the times in online playlists and not in custom cups

Well well well... I totally agree with Xnider..! & that's the reason I exit the club in the 1st place, & rejoined my previous club... I believe xnider knows which club I'm referring to... Anyway, I had fun racing in the custom lobby with the top drivers all these while (mostly steam friends), unlike in online playlist, things get f***-up when there are "new" drivers who deosn't care bout impact rating, who likes to do HARD bump for no reason, I just can't race with those idiots. It would be fun to continue racing in Grid Autosport with Clean Racers... BUT I'm mostly juz doing my time in Racenet Challenges now since Project Cars started XD...

Cuz i do agree with Xnider and also with Meszes..
A leaderbord based on how much time or xp you have earned does not say anything..
And there will always be teams who will find a way to gain xp the fastest...
I think there is not much left to do to save GAS.. Our only option is to migrate to Project Cars.
Or just play online playlists, just for funzz...

This problem started when Rombo Deadfish (leader of Elite Racing Club today) was a member of GRT performing this practice. When I heard, I told him not to do it again, because for me it was not fair. Rombo Deadfish is anger and abandonment GRT and founded ERC, requiring some of its members to make such practices to score points quickly. It's a shame that this happens because many clubs do this. I hope someday solve codemasters.

i guess the only way for keep the game active, and build a strong racing comunity is make another XP point system: insert the XP points gain for the clubs only when they beat another club, or give the loser club too a little xp points for the defeat too. this kind of system INCITE clubs to play between them, and become more competitive racers, and nobody can complain anymore about xp farming, if you wanna earn XP you need to play against OTHER CLUB. this xp system will be the best for a great game like grid autosport, and i hope you consider to insert this sistem in your next racing games
