Not Downloading the Mailmime.dll File.
So, here's my problem and maybe someone can help me. I running Ubuntu 14.04 and using wine to run Steam on Linux in order to play some Windows games. For games like TF2 it works fine but with Elsword it doesn't want to download the the Mailmime.dll file in order to run the game. I've tried reinstalling Elsword but that doesn't fix the problem and I don't know what to do. If anyone can help it would be very appreciated.

oh Linux... never worked with a Linux actually, if its not organized like that i suggest you look up in your disk for your Steam Folder.. to know its location, idk if in Linux its the same, but rigth click in your Steam, then proprieties it should say where it is, after you know where Steam folder is inside of it look for Elsword then data

Getting Elsword to run on Linux isn't going to work with WINE but first, I would like to thank the people who commented on this form. It's really cool to see people running or working with linux in someway and for that, I'm thankful. Back to the topic me and my dad have been working on how to get Elsword to work on Linux using WINE and the results led us to this. KOG Studios, and many other South Korean game companies, have put a software in the game called X-TRAP. What this file does normally is an anti-hacking software which pervents hacking, obviously. However there has been problems running this anti-hacking software on linux but, this isn't my main reason. I and my dad believe that Elsword won't run because it purposely corrupts the Mailmime.dll file. How I believe it works is that Gameshield, a program that launches when you start up Elsword, runs a series of checks and somehow it detects that you're not running Windows and corrupts the .dll file which explains when I did replace it Elsword told me it wasn't there.

That however, is just a theory with just a little evidence. I would like to get into this problem more but, I start school monday so with that. So I say this any help or evidence to prove or disprove this would help the progress of getting Elsword running on Linux. Also I have not tried getting Elsword to work in Virtualbox and if anyone has any information they would like to give about that it would be helpful to. Thanks!
