Or ask the consent of the public player who join your lobby if you want to use it in open lobby.

As for moderator, that depends on who & what decision they decide to take.

Silent Assassin does not trigger the in game anti-cheat. There is no VAC ban in this game. The worst you can get is a ban from the community group. Don't go bragging using it. Don't ruin other people's game using it and you will be fine.

You can use it, but never ever say you actually do, or you will get community banned, losing access to the free community items.

They dont actually care what you use in solo or if you use it among friends for fun, just dont use it in public lobbies open to anyone.

i personally feel that the game is more immersive and realistic using silent assassin and i will use any mod that makes the game feel more enjoyable and versatile, its not like pagers are a major concern when it comes to raising difficulty in a game and its not removing the mechanic.

Actually, they have. And it was decided it was a cheat. I don't know where it was said, but now moderators and what not spread the word that they did here on the forums.

The consensus is that it is a cheat because regardless of your pager limit, if you are fast enough you can kill every guard on map. Which was never the intention of stealth. And realism isn't a a good justification for if something is balanced, also it's not realistic.

As for you saying it's "more realistic", this has been discussed before. The pagers used can be compared to real life pagers that exist in real life. Where basically there is a gyro scope that detects if there is too much movement it goes off to check on the guard. And obviously if this keeps happening Gen Sec are going to alert the police, because the chances of a guard "banging his head on a toilet" four times is very low.

Edit: and yes pagers are a concern. It's what keeps you from being able to murder everyone.

ill read through user agreements on that and eventual statements being made by the devs when theres such

i respect your opinons but until it is more than that in form of user agreement updates, statement being made by developers etc, ill use whatever doesnt flag me as a cheater as long as i feel that my game is enjoyable, doesnt flag me as a cheater or break core mechanics.

Just because it doesn't flag you as cheater does not mean all of it was acceptable.

It was a rather broad & subjective question to discuss that even if you find 2 mod with contrast design, they share so much similarities in trait that it makes you look hypocrite for supporting one while against the other.

To make it much simple for you, would you support a mod if the only function it provides is invulnerability aka god mode?

Since it doesn't trigger cheater tag. If we go by your definition, it should be fine in using it too.
