Yes, you read this right, there is no more need for all these silly "Help my game is loading!!!" threads. The problem has been fixed. I figured it would be better to release this sooner than later. Any polishing this needs I will add later, but for now, functionality is key.

This mod will fix any loading errors for new players to the game. It has been tested with brand new steam accounts, and works.

NOTE: If you are not a new player, and have played archeblade in the past on your account, there is no garuntee that this mod will fix any login related problem you have. If you are having any and this fix does not work, please contact me or reply to this thread!

Installation Instructions
Step 1: Be sure to close Archeblade and all running instances before installing

Step 2: Extract the ABGame.u from the .zip archive

Step 3: Navigate to the install location of your Archeblade game
(This should be 'C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Archeblade')

Note: If you have a different install directory for steam, or installed Archeblade on another drive, you will have to navigate there instead.
Ex: 'D:/Steam Library/steamapps/common/Archeblade'

Step 4: Once inside the Archeblade folder, navigate to "/ABGame/CookedPC"

Step 5: Replace the ABGame.u in that folder with the one from the .zip archive

Step 6: After replacing the file, you can now open Steam and launch Archeblade.

Step 7: The game should now load correctly!

Information:
  • This mod currently unlocks all heroes for the player.
  • Your level is currently stuck at 1, this cannot be changed at this time
  • In future versions, I will attempt to fix these issues

I still can't connect! I tried launching the game but it said something about it not being installed :P

Change the last Value from False to True.I tested it with this mod and it allowed me to gearup my charactors.You can test it for yourself If you want

No one can pin anything anymore because all the mods are either gone, or only show up once a year to ban a bunch of people and delete a ton of posts.

Ah thanks. I hadn't really looked around for anything to enable this yet. I will add this to the main download asap.

This is incredible! ^^

Thank you for your contribution, Placebo and Tyrant! ^^ There have been so many new players trying to give the game a chance and now they can actually do it. I'll link to this fix in as many places I can.

I think you guys might have just single-handedly revitalized this community. It has a chance to grow again. ^^

Also, since the servers a little dead nowadays, i'd reccomend getting a few friends to play with you, just to make things more fun!

Download the file from the link above, inside the .zip archive there should be a file called "ABGame.u". You will need to go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Archeblade\ABGame\CookedPC" Place the ABGame.u file there (Hit 'ok' to overwrite) and then you can start Archeblade.

If that is too complicated to follow, there is also an installer which should be able to find the filepaths you need.
